About Cindy Obuck

Cindy Obuck I have always had an interest in art, however it wasn’t until I discovered fibre art that I decided to follow my passion. I have a certificate in graphic design and work full time as a graphic/web designer. I am a self taught artist, but feel my work experience has helped me in designing my own art.

I enjoy using various mediums in my art such as organza, cheese cloth, papers, chiffons, yarns and beads. I also enjoy painting my own fabrics or using wax and pencil crayons to emphasize various designs.

My inspiration comes from what I see around me. I take great pleasure in seeing the fibres evolve into a piece of art.
