About Daryl Dancer-Wade
Daryl uses her art to explore and share the landscapes in which she works as a wildlife naturalist in remote watersheds. The landscape aesthetic has been part of our shared culture for hundreds of years and has been built upon a rich deposit of myths, memories, and obsessions.
Daryl uses the woven structure to examine the complexities of her surroundings through materials made from previously used paper that she has hand spun, dyed, woven, stitched and appliquéd.
