Ornamental Crab in Four Parts

I am fortunate to live in an area of British Columbia that has four distinct seasons. Whenever I walk to my studio, I see this hardy tree in all its splendor. Even in winter, the rich burgundy fruit hangs on the branches in stark contrast to the subtly-hued whites and greys around it.
