About Janet Bednarczyk
I love to work with fabric and I Iove to draw and paint flowers. Stumbling into quilting late in life I found the textures that emerge from manipulating fabrics delightful. I happen to live with a man who is passionate about growing orchids so I am constantly surrounded by the sights and smells of orchids. Not surprisingly they have become a creative and inspirational focus of my work. Creating is like breathing for me. I absolutely must do it in order to live.
My goal with my fabric creations is to excite viewers to appreciate the beauty and mystery or plant forms.
