About Kathy Dill
I am a primarily self-taught quilter and artist. I love to “fondle fabrics” and bring ideas to life. As well as producing quilts from patterns (which I am doing less and less because it is so boring to know what it is going to look like), I create my own quilt patterns and fabric art wall hangings. Making the design decisions as I work is the really exciting part. I have been working extensively in fabric since 2000, often using my own hand painted fabric in my creations. Being able to paint fabric and then use it in an image I want to create is very satisfying.
