This piece is a study of the wild rose hip, the seed pod of the wild rose flowers that grow abundantly in Canada and other parts of the world. Despite the harshness of human interaction with nature at times, the wild rose continues to adapt to its changed surroundings and it thrives. I love this positive aspect in an environment that is often seen as suffering and hopeless.
