Manitoba Maple

The large Manitoba Maple tree dominates my backyard. It provides the shade for me as I paint fabrics en plain aire each summer. Its leaves are used in the sunprinting process which creates the fabric design. The rich colours add to the simple beauty of this intimate image.
Unbleached cotton fabric, setacolour fabric paint, assorted threads, cotton batting
