Working from a photo transfer of an image I was especially drawn to I attempted to draw attention to and exaggerate what I saw as the focal point of the piece. I used a variety of piecing methods and played quite a bit with fabric selections in order to meld the photo transfer into the overall quilt design.
Techniques: Photo transfer, machine and hand piecing, machine embroider, machine quilting, cotton fabrics, cotton, rayon and nylon threads
