Spring Delight

One of the first things that I look for in the early Spring are the first flowers. It is a great delight to see tulips appear. The intensity of colour, and the velvety texture of the petals, are a a sure sign that Spring has finally arrived.
Cotton fabrics, machine appliqued, thread painted and quilted.
