Fanfare for the Fiftyish by Judy Morningstar
17½" x 23"   © 2002

‘Fanfare’ indicates celebration. I used fan imagery to express my joy at being in this comfortable, productive stage of life. It was challenging to fit about fifty fabrics into this tiny piece. Credit to Marilyn Stothers for inventing curved patchwork technique.
