Winter on the Canadian Prairies, when the temperature dips to 30 or 40 degrees below zero, has been an important part of my life. I loved watching the sun rise and set when there are ice crystals in the air and captured these moments with photography. With this piece, I have worked with fabric to express the beauty of frost on the prairies.
Techniques: hand dyed & commercial fabrics, photo transfer and paint
