I am currently exploring the interplay of light with the textured surface of the quilt. This whole cloth quilt was machine quilted first and then augmented with paint to further emphasize an abstract view of the patchwork seen in an aerial view of the Canadian Prairies in winter.
Techniques: whole cloth – quilted and painted with fabric paints
