As I walked around this lake in Lethbridge Alberta, the rocks seemed to call me and my emotional response inspired me to create this design. This piece became my retreat while I worked on the stones. They gave me: strength, stability, support and the powers of the stones.
Techniques: Surface design: fabric paint and coloured pencils. Machine pieced, appliquéd and quilted.
