One of the plants that grows well in the Okanagan in the Lunaria (Honesty) or, as we have always called it, our money tree. I found the iridescent fabric during the FAN retreat in Edmonton, thus a reason to make this quilt. I completed this ‘painting’ using fabrics as my medium and the sewing machine as my brush. Considering the problems of our loonie, I felt Moneytree Blues a fitting title.
