You only need to listen to the news to see that nature can be a very destructive force. One of the most fascinating effects of flowing water is its ability to etch out a path. It is astonishing to see that something so calm and slow moving can over time eat out a path through the earth that meanders and curves around, at times even turning completely back on itself.
