Introduced to dollmaking by artist Margie Hennan seven years ago, I enjoy making original dolls that tell a story or provide social commentary. As a child I was always fascinated by sea creatures, real and imagined. I am still very intrigued by oceanography and what lies below the surface. We know so little, yet so much more than
we ever did. Who knows what our explorations will teach us? Who knows what we may discover one day? This piece is part of a series of Mer-People.
