I took a tumble off a ladder and broke a number of bones in my foot. I was house and couch bound for a number of weeks but couldn’t easily get to my basement studio. My studio frightens my husband and he was always reluctant to enter in case he never found his way out. So I settled on a piece of fabric and a box of floss and beads. For me, hand work and reflection are closely connected and I poured my healing energy into the cloth. The purse was finished and the cast came off the same day.
