Stitching by hand gives me a strong sense of being connected to my work. I feel the work come alive as my needle passes in and out of the fabric creating a path or trail of continuing growth. To design and execute this work is a way for me to project my passion for capturing the essence and spiritual message of transformation. I choose the cotton/silk Radiance in chartreuse—the yellow-green colour suggests new life, a new beginning, fresh young growth. The symbolic tree with its many veins and branches paves the way or route of access, reaching and achieving growth of the environment and of our souls.
