Reaching to Infinity was created to honor my Father, who in spite of much adversity from his childhood to his last years never gave up, and overcame huge obstacles especially during World War II to survive and improve his fortunes and those of his family.
The single red rose reminds me of my Father's love of roses. The celestial presence surrounding the rose is there to help remind my family to never stop reaching for the stars as we progress from one stage of our lives to the next.
Cotton and synthetic fabrics and threads, machine quilted.
