Many years ago, my Father gave me a four year old Arab gelding, the gift that kept on giving for 26 more years. After many attempts, I captured the face and expression of my special friend, transferred it to fabric, then used free motion stitching and trapunto to complete. His flying mane reminds me of galloping along a trail on his back. Strands of his mane are intertwined with the colourful fabric.
