A collaborative quilt made for an ill friend. The centre panel was inspired by a photo of the friend paddling with us in an ultra marathon canoeing race, the Yukon River Quest. Many contributed squares with encouraging messages; Deirdre Way assembled them with the crossed canoes squares; Terry Lockett was the instigator and bound the finished quilt. I made the centre panel.
