Circles are my favourite shape and make me think of unity, infinity, wholeness. I visualize time in circles; the minutes, hours, days of the week, months of the year, years of the century are all in circles in my mind. My world is made up of a family circle and circle of friends. Warm colours, particularly yellows and oranges, are my favourite palette. The rich colours in this piece, from yellow to mahogany, were achieved with Procion dyes and overdyeing using a beeswax resist.
