Marking places of spiritual power, venerating ancestors or helping travellers to survive on a vast featureless Arctic landscape, Inuit Inuksuiit have also come to represent the Canadian welcoming spirit internationally. I found this Inukshuk in my travels watching over the small Baffin Island community of Clyde River, Nunavut.
