I was inspired by the poem Foil by Alice Major. The foothills of the Canadian Rockies are reflected in golden fields, leaves and bright blue sky. The golden colors of an Alberta fall indicate time is called and winter is coming.156 batik fabrics cut in ¾ inch wide strips were pieced using quilt as you go technique.
