I keep unstitching this quilt in my head. I need to find a way for threads is connect images of friendship both beautiful and broken. On the back, unseen, white stitch lines purposely take shape on black. I want this story to be about hope. Two stories, two quilts.

Techniques: Cotton and organza fabric, intense dye sticks, coloured pencil. Raw edge applique and machine embroidery.
