Aspen Parkland is the transitional area between Canada’s prairie grasslands and its northern Boreal Forests. Dominated by trembling aspens, its undergrowth is lush with fruit bearing shrubs, herbs and wildflowers-- a rich habitat for wildlife. In its autumn glory, the aspens are golden yellow and the undergrowth is ablaze in orange, burgundy and green.
