Fallen Beauty

"Fallen Beauty" is my entry to the 2018 annual SAQA Benefit Auction.

My artist statement: Autumn is a magical time when the leaves explode into vibrant color, then float and drift to the ground. When walking, I watch for colorful leaves on the sidewalk and capture their beauty with my camera.

Techniques: Original photo, digitally enhanced and printed on fabric. Leaf and background are free-motion quilted. The edges are faced.
