From The Ashes

Materials: Painted and dyed canvas drop cloth, tulle, organza, paper, assorted fabrics

Technique: Painting, dyeing, thread sketching (some on dissolvable stabilizer), machine applique, appliqued tulle overlay, collage.

The world is at a turning point right now, having been turned upside down. The emergence of the beautiful fireweed after a fire can give us hope for a new more conscious way of being in this world.
