This is one of my favourite pieces. The concept came to me in Southern France when the Mistrals (read - very heavy winds) blew over everything on the streets including the partitions at our outside restaurant! It reminded me of our chinooks and perhaps, what Van Gough put up with when he tried to paint outdoors in St. Remy.
Felting and machine stitching. 43” x 16” framed (11” x 37” unframed)
