This theme really resonates with me. Although our society is currently faced with many problems and issues, there are just as many solutions, ideas and positive alternatives. Permaculture, renewable energy, compassion, mindfulness and gratitude were my inspiration for this piece. We are a species with a great deal of ingenuity and adaptability. We can learn from our mistakes, find a sustainable way to live, and create hope for many generations to come.
