Terry Fox, a hero instantly recognized by Canadians, set a shining example of what one person can do to inspire others. His Marathon of Hope demonstrated what courage, commitment, and determination and can accomplish. The image of Terry Fox in this work is based on an iconic photo taken by Gail Harvey in 1980, used with her permission.
