BIO – 500 Character maximum
One of the changes when entering an exhibit involves the BIO. A decision was made to include the Bio on the INTENT form for an Exhibit.
What does this mean for you? When you complete the INTENT form for RESIST you will notice a section to copy/paste or type in your bio. The maximum number of characters (NOT words) is 500, this includes spaces and punctuation. In the past your bio was restricted to 75 words. I suggest you do a little practice before completing your Intent. You will not want to be completing the form and discovery you have the incorrect number of characters and have to make changes on the fly. If you go over the limit it will tell you and you won’t be able to submit your intent until it is fixed. Remember your Bio is always written in third person.
Where to get help? On the website there are several links to information that can assist you in writing or improving your Bio and samples from other FAN members to view. These are found in the Members Section – Resources for Members – How to Enter and Exhibit. Here is the link – Entering A FAN Exhibit
Thanks for the info, Lilly. I will make sure my Bio is up-to-date.
Thank you Terry. Please be sure it is 500 characters or less including spaces and punctuation.
Great Advice Lilly …hard to remember to count punctuation as well as spaces. It took me several counting but OK now
Very easy to submit Intent to Enter. Well done!

Yes, I think the website committee has done an exceptional job.
So great to have all those bios already collected and ready to go, he he.
Am having trouble finding out just what the”resist” requirements are?
