Welcome to the 2025 FAN Conference!
Registration Deadline: June 30, 2025
This year there is a 3-part registration process including conference registration, hotel reservation and art exchange entry. Registration is limited to 60 people on a first come basis. 60 people have now registered: please contact fanconfoddyear@gmail.com if you wish to be added to a wait list in case of a cancellation.
Part A – Conference Registration
Please register by filling out the online form below. If you have difficulty using the form please send your information to: fanconfoddyear@gmail.com. After June 30, 2025 please contact: fanconfoddyear@gmail.com to confirm space availability.
Conference Dates: September 16th, 3 pm to September 19th, noon.
The conference registration fee is $500 per person. This includes all meals and gratuities, meeting rooms, conference program, and scheduled events only. You are responsible for booking your hotel room, if needed (see below), and for getting to/from the conference hotel. Refunds are not available for the conference registration fee. You are encouraged to purchase travel insurance to cover your costs should you be unable to attend.
Payment is required at the time of registration by etransfer to fibreartnetwork.treasurer@gmail.com. Please include your name in the memo section of the eTransfer. For questions about payment, please contact FAN Treasurer, at the email above.
You will receive an automatic email after you submit your registration. However, your registration is not confirmed until payment is received. Once your payment has been received, you will receive an email confirming your registration for this year’s conference.
Part B – Hotel Reservations
Please reserve your room before August 13, 2025 directly with the hotel: using this link: http://coa.st/FibreArtNetwork. Wait a couple of seconds and the click on “Select and Go To The Next Step”. The conference dates will automatically be selected. If you wish to add extra nights please contact Karim Arous at k.arous@coasthotels.com.
Confirm who your roommate will be prior to contacting the hotel. If you need to find a roommate, send an email request via fibreartnetwork@googlegroups.com to identify another conference attendee looking for a roommate.
Hotel check-in is 3:00 pm, check-out is 11:00 am. The Conference starts on Tuesday, September 16th with registration from 3-5 pm and dinner/evening program, and ends before lunch on Friday, September 19th.
The conference hotel room rate is $229 (tax extra) per night per room for single or double occupancy. Specify whether you want two queen beds or a king bed. Check with the hotel regarding their cancellation policy.
The hotel policy regarding alcohol is that any alcohol purchased outside the hotel must be consumed in your room. Any alcohol purchased from the conference bartender must be consumed in the rooms we are renting.
Hotel guest parking is $9.00 per car per day day and can be reserved when booking your room or when you arrive at the hotel.
Part C – Art Exchange
Last Date for Intent to Enter: September 1, 2025
Last date for entries: September 1, 2025
There is no fee to enter the art exchange.
Financial Support: FAN has limited financial assistance for anyone who would have a difficult time attending the conference without it. Contact FAN treasurer at fibreartnetwork.treasurer@gmail.com. Inquiries are confidential.
Membership Name Tags: Please bring your name tag with you as new ones will not be issued. If you have lost your name tag a new one can be made for you at a cost of $10.00. Members who attend the conference who have never received a name tag, will be issued one. Please let membershipfan@gmail.com know prior to the conference if you require a name tag.
