Altered Shapes

Using actual pieces of flora found near our cottage I have used free motion machine stitching to draw what I see. The fabrics have been hand dyed and the machine quilting is designed to enhance the flow of the dyes. The cording on the piece was made by combining many threads and stitching them together.
