In 1903, a natural landslide occurred in Albertas Crowsnest Pass, burying homes and killing ninety people. I was fascinated by Frank Slide as a child growing up in the region. Fifty years later I visited the area once again. Using one of my digitally enhanced photos of Frank Slide, I have created this art quilt to illustrate the power and impact of this geophysical event.
