This sunset was my experience on the Kee Beach on Kauai, Hawaii. The sky deepened from gold to copper and ended with a glow like embers in a fire.
Mother nature and her palette amaze me! Images dance through my head and then, one keeps coming back. Finally, I put a hold on the other things in my life and find a way to bring that image to life in an art quilt.
Techniques: original design with my photos as the source, printed on fabric, painted and enhanced with free motion stitching.
