This abstract quilt of shapes and symbols represents the increasing, rapid pace of living in Greater Vancouver. The constant changing skyline of multiple towers and the continuous movement of people and vehicles are juxtaposed with the serenity of scenic, coastal mountains and ocean views.

Techniques: Machine piecing, as well as hand-guided, free-motion, stitch-in-the-ditch and machine quilting with a domestic machine

Materials: Artist’s hand-dyed and hand-stenciled cottons and linens, silk dupioni fabric and WonderFil® threads
