My first career was as a nurse but I had always loved art. I made a decision in my early 30's to go back to school  for 4 years to take fine art and graphic design. I realized that this is what makes me happy so I continued doing art in various forms until I settled on textile art as my favourite genre. Since I have sewn since I was very young and have continued to make most of my clothes as well as some for clients textiles have been important to me. Colour is also extremely important and most of  my pieces use colour in many ways.

This piece uses handdyed cotton, handdyed paper, handmade paper with embeded dried leaves , dried flowers  and silk fusion. Hand and machine stitched.
