Measuring a Year by the Minute

I knit every day since my birthday on April 23, 2011. Each stitch represents a minute, so a row of 60 stitches represents one hour. 24 rows represents one day. 366 days measure the year with one stitch for each minute. I followed nature's colour palette. Nature is all about the importance of water. The snow is water, grey ice is water, the foliage needs water to survive. The long narrow shape seems to flow like water. The colours flow together to form a river of colour. The minutes of our days flow together into the river of our lives.
