Fibrescapes

While looking for colorful, exotic birds in the palm trees along a beach in Hawaii, I became intrigued by the chattering and activiies of a group of sparrows. These beach scavengers were busily searching through bits of trash and shells. Thus began my plan to design and create a monochromatic quilt featuring these rather ordinary, and therefore often neglected, species of bird life. SOLD
