On the Wind

Memories from my childhood in Ontario include images of monarch butterflies fluttering and floating on the wind between the milkweed pods. These seemingly delicate creatures also endure an epic migration from southern Canada to Mexico covering thousands of kilometres. I blockprinted the butterfly images onto hand-painted cloth.
