Commissioned work based on a requested colour palette, trees and birds. Since this piece originates from Manitoba I wanted to incorporate a sampling of all four of the seasons that we experience. Materials/ techniques used include cotton, batik, netting, embroidery floss, a wide variety of threads/ applique, french knots, free-motion stitching.
