In amongst the horrors of war, the two overpowering emotions that stand out to me are love and solidarity. Whether you see roses to symbolize passion or pools of blood, 'For Love' tells a story of our time and the unstoppable reiliency & determination of a people fighting for what is theirs. Materials/ techniques used include cotton, batik, a variety of threads; applique, free-motion stitching.
