Grassland National Park's East Block has breath-taking vistas - and gorgeous fall colours. The picture that inspired this quilted wall hanging was taken during a volunteer stint tying flutters on barbed wire fences to stop sage grouse from harming themselves. The quilt itself was one of 40 pieces in my "Textured Landscapes" show, in Silver Winds and Prairie Sage Museum in Val Marie SK (2018).
