Bird Interrupted, with Freshly Ground Pepper features a dish that regularly appears on our breakfast menu, and pays homage to the myriad hens who grace backyards in our neighbourhood. The background is improv pieced. Trapunto technique was used to create the yolk. The egg was then appliquéd on to the Dresden plate, and thread painted.
