I interpreted paintings by Gustav Klimt of Adele Bloch-Bauer (1912) and Emilie Floge (1902). This textile art piece was made to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the Langley Quilters’ Guild.

Accepted into CQA in 2019.

Materials: Cotton, lame, paints, inks, lace, netting, jewelry, tassels, lutradur, and wooden dowels.

Techniques: Raw-edge appliqué, textile painting, and free motion quilting. Structured like a two-sided vertical blind, each textile art presentation is revealed by gently pulling the side dowels.
