Rita St. Amant

This piece was hand dyed cotton, using steacolor transparent.  From there, it was backed onto wool batting and heavy interfacing.  I then did thread painting, using my threads like paints.  My wool batting and interfacing went on at different times to help create a more three dimensional effect.  Place in a frame with a solid back.
