Several years ago I took an acrylic painting class and, to my surprise, my favorite painting from that class sold at the end of the week long class to another artist. The imagery from that painting of people headed into the city appeals to me and has since been repeated in several of my art quilts, including this triptych, Going to Town II is included in THREEFOLD: The Art of the Triptych, an exhibition by Mountain Art Quilters of Asheville NC.
