While teaching on Vancouver Island I had an opportunity to go for a walk on Beacon Hill in Victoria and came upon this view over the ocean.  It was a clear blue sunny day and the veiw was breathtaking .  I created this piece using handpainted fabric, hand-dyed cheese cloth, free-motion and hand embroidery, fabric paper and inktense blocks.
