One day my husband and I went for a drive up to Squamish to pick up a bike he had purchased.  On the way home, we stopped at Murrin Provincial Park for a walk.  This is the view as you enter the lake area.  I just had to take a picture and needless to say it is now a piece of fibre art.  Each piece I create I learn something new and this one is no exception. Incorporating gel medium for the water and encaustic to create the weeds in combination of hand embroidery was a first for me and I am very happy with the result.
